Best Dressed at the Kids’ Choice Awards 2014
Winner of the Favorite Female Singer award, Selena Gomez also won praise from fashion critics thanks to her Dolce & Gabbana spring 2014 look. The two separates feature prints of Italian ruins, but also have a lovely pop of color. Paired with Casadei “Barbarella” pumps and Neil Lane jewels, the D&G separates worked wonders for the singer.
Choosing a bold yellow dress for the Kids’ Choice Awards 2014 red carpet, Ariana Grande made the best dressed list thanks to her Aiisha Ramadam mini dress, perfectly accessorized with white Saint Laurent pumps and a colorful Chanel bag with Nickelodeon cartoon characters.
Opting for an orange and black print dress from the Camilla and Marc Resort 2014 collection, Kristen Bell accepted the Kids’ Choice Award for Favourite Animated Movie (“Frozen”). The bold print was paired with coral nails and black Christian Louboutin heels.
The “Jessie” star was one of the Best Dressed celebs at the Kids’ Choice Awards 2014 thanks to her cute Aqua romper. The black and white ensemble would have come across as boring without the cute thin belt, neon pink clutch and bright lips.
Rocking and Elie Saab spring 2014 dress, Lea Michele went for rosy pink lace and kept her accessories subtle. The bright lip is the only bright color, but the “Glee” star made the Kids’ Choice Awards best dressed list thanks to her impeccable choice of accessories: Fendi bag and Charlotte Olympia “Dolly” pumps.
For a a daring but stylish look, Zendaya paired a white Oscar de la Renta knit top with Free People denim cutoff shorts. Keeping it youthful, the “Shake It Up” star accessorized her look with a Swarovski clutch and Chanel pumps.
Rocking a bright fuchsia Armani dress on the Kids’ Choice Awards 2014 orange carpet, Kelli Berglund added sophistication to her look with her half-up half-down beehive hairstyle. In layered chiffon, her Armani dress was perfectly accessorized with gold pumps and a gold Amanda Pearl clutch.
Going for a menswear inspired look, America Ferrera opted for separates from the Veronica Beard pre-fall 2014 collection. While her outfit may seem toned down compared to other looks from the best dressed list at the Kids’ Choice Awards 2014, the actress made it work with Casadei heels and Vernier jewels.
Worst Dressed at the Kids’ Choice Awards 2014
Going for black and white print separates from the Rebecca Minkoff pre-fall 2014 collection, missed the mark because of the boxy feel of her blazer and her chunky BCBG sandals. Her makeup seemed subdued too, so the only color on her look ended up being the green slime.
The petite singer got lost in her Nasty Girl maxi dress. While the print is definitely lovely, she killed the outfit with her over-sized black handbag and her plum shade of lipstick that adds years to her look.
Going for a Versace dress, Tia Mowry made the worst dressed list at the Kids’ Choice Awards 2014. Despite the bright colors, the black pattern aged the look. While her pink nails tried to brighten up her look, the black Jimmy Choo sandals pushed it in the wrong direction and her braided hairstyle clashed with the dress.
Going for a green version of his now iconic hat, Pharrell Williams didn’t bring his usual style to the Kids’ Choice Awards and commited a big fashion faux-pas: using his outfit to promote his album “G I R L”.
