Held at the O2 Arena in London on February 19th, the Brit Awards 2014 allowed celebrities to show off stunning looks, both on the red carpet an on stage. From elegant gowns to more extravagant choices, celebrities from both sides of the Atlantic came dressed to impress and many of them pulled off great looks.

British supermodel Kate Moss managed to get on the list of best dressed at the Brit Awards while wearing a vintage stage costume. David Bowie did not attend the ceremony to receive his “Best Male Solo Awards”. Instead, Kate Moss accepted on his behalf wearing a tour costume from the 1972 Ziggy Stardust tour. Her winning look was completed by black tights and heels.
After wearing a vintage dress on the red carpet, Lily Allen took the stage at the award ceremony in much more modern look, from the House of Holland Fall 2014 collection. Allen’s black and yellow ombre hair was perfectly matched with the sequin dress. The singer opted to wear a body suit under the black cut out dress but showed off her legs from behind the sheer hemline.
When Katy Perry took the stage as a guest presenter, she instantly made the best dressed list at the Brit Awards 2014 thanks to her Julien Macdonald Fall 2014 dress. The bedazzled creation was accessorized with metallic Rupert Sanderson “Syra” pumps. The look may be too much for the street, but the high shine finish was perfect for the awards ceremony.
The Australian rapper opted for a more elegant look at the Brit Awards and impressed with her overall look, complete with a sophisticated chignon and glamorous waves. Her Elie Saab Resort 2014 red dress featured sheer inserts that extended all the way down to her hips, but the look is still very elegant, especially paired with nude lips.
Giving up her usual red lipstick, singer Rita Ora was one of the best dressed celebrities at the Brit Awards 2014 thanks to her yellow Prada gown. The plunging neckline and the green rhinestone lining make this dress a very elegant choice and Ora keep her look together with a green smoky eye and simple jewelry.
The model opted for a Saint Laurent creation and had a sophisticated look at the award ceremony by pairing it with Saint Laurent “Paris” pumps. The red and black zebra print gives this dress just enough flair and the black bow waistband adds just the right touch of romanticism to the look. Anita Ko “Arrow” earrings are the perfect match for the dress.
Singer Pixie Lott ended up on the best dressed list at the Brit Awards 2014 by ditching her usual pink in favor of a white DNKY Spring 2014 dress. The minimalist outfit was pulled together with Sophia Webster pumps in a pal shade of blue and a structures Dolce & Gabbana “Agata” bag with in white and gold.
Another elegant outfit, that some may even consider too stylish for the Brit Awards, Dannii Minogue’s J’Aton Couture featured beautiful black lace inserts that really took it to the next level. The one-shoulder dress was paired with black Gucci patent leather pumps, perhaps an intentional detail that matched sister Kylie’s latex dress.
