From ethereally gorgeous to statement-making daring prints, graphics and neon hues, check out some of the most beautiful People's Choice Awards 2013 red carpet appearances!
The Nokia Theatre L.A. hosted on Wednesday night the 39th Annual
People’s Choice Awards. As usual, besides the long-awaited awards
and emotional speeches, most of us were highly expecting to see
what celebrities chose to wear. We got a sartorial dose of glam and
glitz but also a high injection of cool neon and prints. Oh yes,
since red carpet
outfits are meant to draw all the attention, there were a
few starlets who stunned everyone with their short and eye-popping
dresses at the 2013 People's Choice Awards.
For example, Lea Michele turned heads on the red carpet in a hot
pink Elie Saab dress and shoes. Another actress who managed to
brighten up the atmosphere at this edition of the People's Choice
Awards was Chloe Moretz. The 15-year-old star wore a Simone Rocha
spring 2013 RTW sheer flower dress and Casadei heels. Well, young
actresses went a little bit daring this year. Emma Watson, who won
the award for Favorite Dramatic Movie Actress for movie 'The Perks
of Being a Wallflower', chose a graphic Peter Pilotto dress. Paris
Hilton also went for graphic with an outstanding Mary Katrantzou
dress.
Okay, fashion addicts, it's now time to take a peek and applaud the
glamorous gowns that were specially designed for show-stopping
moments. In this category we can easily include Taylor Swift's
Ralph Lauren wonderful plunging gown. Sexy and chic, isn’t it?
Ellen Pompeo was another starlet who made waves with a Lanvin
dress and Christian Louboutin shoes. The 43-year-old actress also
won the awards for Favorite TV Drama Actress. A breathtaking and
incredibly enviable appearance on the red carpet was Naomi Watts.
And it is totally understandable why! The gorgeous Australian
actress wore a never-seen-before two-tone Alexander McQueen dress
teamed with Jimmy Choo studded clutch and shoes. Oh, and did we
mention that the uber-sexy gown was backless? Heidi Klum made a
scene-stealing entrance choosing a black cutout Julien MacDonald
dress and a pair of Christian Louboutin shoes.
'The Hunger Games' was the big winner at this year's People Choice
Awards 2013 being named favorite movie, action movie and movie
franchise, while stars Jennifer Lawrence, Chris Hutcherson and Liam
Hemsworth won the award for Favorite On-Screen Chemistry. Moreover,
Lawrence won the awards for Favorite Movie Actress and Face of
Heroism. The 22-year-old actress wore a Valentino Couture and
Nicholas Kirkwood shoes oozing a special old Hollywood
flare.
The evening's host, Kaley Cuoco, also made a statement opting
for a subtle baby pink Christian Siriano dress teamed with a pair
of Giuseppe Zanotti shoes. On Wednesday night, Cuoco's famous show
'The Big Bang Theory' won the award for Favorite Network TV Comedy.
Regina King also proved that simplicity can be the most stylish
sartorial pick with a Badgley Mischka dress and Valentino shoes.
Far away from the idea of mermaid-looking and glamorously gracious,
Olivia Munn failed to impress with a Carolina Herrera resort 2013
look.
