va-va-va-voom red-carpet appearances that totally won the spotlight
this year! From delicate nudes to eye-catching neon and sequins,
celebrities were smashing indeed. Okay, some of them definitely
stood out more than the others especially those who chose to rock
notice-me-now bright hues.
2013 BAFTA Awards Dresses: Neon Gowns
Yes, there were a few daring beauties who walked the red carpet
wearing standout, show-stealing pops of color. Laura Bailey opted
for a gorgeous red Roksanda Ilincic dress, while Jessica Chastain
looked absolutely breathtaking in a royal blue Roland Mouret gown.
Marion Cotillard complimented her neon yellow Dior Couture dress
with Jimmy Choo shoes and Chopard jewelry. The result? Memorable
Yellow was also Andrea Riseborough's choice. The English actress
wore a Vivienne Westwood dress paired with Brian Atwood shoes and a
Swarovski clutch.
2013 BAFTA Awards Dresses: Embellished and Monochrome
Another celebrity that shimmered on the red carpet at the 2013
BAFTA Awards was Jennifer Lawrence. The young actress opted for a
nude sequined Dior gown and Chopard jewels oozing a special
whimsical flare. Annabelle Wallis was another beauty proving that
light hues are so elegant and can make an impact. The English
actress looked amazing in a fairytale-like Dolce & Gabbana
dress!
Besides brights and nudes, the black and white combination was
pretty popular this year. Juno Temple's Stella McCartney dress and
Jennifer Garner' Roland Mouret dress are great examples in this
sense.
2013 BAFTA Awards Outfits: Bold in Black
Did someone just say sizzling? Oh, but there were some really
dramatic and utterly feminine looks at this year's BAFTA Awards!
And there were all black! Studded or lacy, every black dress was a
jaw-dropping appearance. Amy Adams wore a fabulous Elie Saab lace
gown, while Anne Hathaway teamed her cute pixie with a studded
black Burberry dress.
Jumpsuits on the red carpet can indeed look sexy. Actress Laura
Whitmore looked smokin' hot in a fab Alexandre Vauthier ensemble,
while Sarah Jessica Parker looked elegant in a black Elie Saab
jumpsuit.
