Have you gorgeous dolls seen the latest Spell 'Never Never Land' lookbook? Check it out and get ready to add awesomeness to your combos!
Could we get some awwwws? Of course! If you loved Spell's Desert Island
lookbook, just have a nosey at the newest 'Never Never
Land' lookbook and you'll be totally impressed by the beautiful
things featured in it. Well, we definitely got our eyes on a few
goodies! Sisters Elizabeth and Isabella prove once again their
amazing talent when it comes to creating jaw-dropping pieces. The
two tastemakers, who have been enamoured by the feeling created
when you combine feathers, leather and turquoise for as long as
they remember, designed a new collection packed full with
lust-worthy accessories and clothes.
Their latest lookbook? They describe it better! "You know what it’s
like when you're on holiday – you feel a little bit more exotic…
and a little bit high… you lounge around your villa, all languid
and buzzed… you smile with the locals, and don’t bother carrying
your phone, and sigh when the sun disappears behind the horizon…
Once again we've pulled together a little blog post during a
crazy-hectic design trip to Bali. We like to try to harness the
creative juices as they're flowing…We hope you love the relaxed
styling (we did our best with the few pieces we pulled out of
production just for the shoot). Just a bit of fun to show you some
of our new pieces dropping this week," the sisters wrote on their
blog.
But what inspires them the most? What's the main source of
inspiration behind the girls' seriously cool creations? "Imagery
from our childhood," Elizabeth and Isabella revealed in an
interview.
The latest Spell 'Never Never Land' lookbook features Julia
photographed by Andy Campbell. Most of the looks are styled with
Spell, but there’s a few "vintage, model's own and stylist's own
thrown in there for good measure."
On their personal style, the sisters said, "Spell has always pushed
the boundaries in her personal style – back to when she was a
grungy teenager with blue hair and ripped tights – she’s always
expressed herself through fashion. I've always used fashion as a
way to tap into my bohemian 60's love child alter-ego, which has
never fully merged with my real self. Spell loves pairing our own
designs with as many Sass & Bide pieces she can afford, and I
love searching out 60's vintage. My fave piece from our Winter
range is the leggings – I have lived in mine ever since we got them
in."
The girls' new collection includes boho tribal maxi skirts, cowgirl
lullaby minis, loose tees, kimonos, bags, and loads of
statement-making jewelry pieces. What about the future? "We just
want to keep creating, designing and doing super fun photo shoots –
the creative energy generated through a shoot is electrifying! The
goal is to keep discovering new, beautiful fabrics and materials to
work with. Keep inspiring ourselves, which in turn hopefully
inspires others (a fellow designer called this circular inspiration
cycle 'the ricochet effect' – I loved that!)," Elizabeth and
Isabella explained.
