Maison Michel is the renowned Parisian brand that since 1936 has amazed everyone with their inimitable hats and hair accessories. The Maison Michel spring 2011 lookbook features famous faces photographed by the legendary designer Karl Lagerfeld.
The well known Maison Michel owned by Chanel has been creating,
since 1936, hats for numerous iconic brands. For spring 2011,
Laetitia Crahay, Head of accessories and jewelery at Chanel and
Artistic Director of the Maison Michel, has designed a fresh
collection including hats and different hair accessories,
without forgetting its trademark bunny and cat ears.
The lookbook was photographed by the one and only Karl Lagerfeld
who has chosen a great cast for the spring collection, featuring
top models, such as Irina Lazareanu, Leigh Lezark, Abbey Lee
Kershaw, Olivier Theyskens, Anja Rubik, Jac, Bambi Northwood Blyth,
Shu Pei Qin, or Karolina Kurkova, gap-toothed gorgeous Ashley Smith
and Tanga Moreau, Lou Doillon and her son Marlowe, but also Mark
Ronson and girlfriend Josephine de la Baume, Leigh Lezark, Florrie
Arnold, and Audrey Marnay.

The spring 2011 collection coming from the legendary Parisian label contains beautiful items and different versions of the already classic wide-brimmed hats, absolutely necessary for a rainy day of spring or offering protection against harmful UV rays during hot summer days. Besides these, special toppers, cloches (on Irina Lazareanu), trilby hats (on Anja Rubik), berets (on Florrie Arnold), and caps (on Abbey Lee Kershaw) represent an important part of this season's line.

The feminine, sweet and romantic touch of the spring 2011 Maison Michel collection is brought by amazing hair accessories, headbands and jewels. Among bohemian floral hair pins and girly bows in playful colors, the new line also includes sculptural metal headbands (on Leigh Lezark) and elegant jeweled headbands with a retro vibe. If you love this beautiful selection of hats and hair accessories for spring 2011, you should know that there are several special editions designed for cool retailer Opening Ceremony.
