Eva Mendes fronts the new Vogue Eyewear campaign looking beautiful as always. Check out the images featuring the stunning actress!
Eva Mendes is the new gorgeous face of Vogue Eyewear and
stars in the brand's spring/summer 2013 campaign. In a series of
images, shot by renowned photographer Mario Testino, the stunning
actress models six sun and optical designs from the Vogue Eyewear
collection. “This is the fun part of what I do. I’ve always admired
Mario’s work and it was Vogue Eyewear that brought us together for
the first time.
Mario’s Peruvian and I’m Cuban, so we got to speak Spanish on set. He’s like an uncle you haven’t seen for a while that you can’t wait to catch up with.” Mendes said.
According to Mario Testino, the 39-year-old actress is the perfect choice for Vogue Eyewear. “I have had a long collaboration with Vogue Eyewear and we have had many beautiful women in the campaign, from Gisele, Daria, Kate and now Eva Mendes. Eva was wonderful to work with and a perfect fit – she is sensual and feminine. The atmosphere on set was great,” Mario Testino revealed.
The Vogue Eyewear 2013 collection features some really stylish pieces priced at $130 for optical and $95 for sun. Eva admitted that her favorite frames are the ones with a vintage flare. “I’m fortunate enough to borrow a lot of designer clothes, but the truth is, when I’m out there shopping on my own, I’m not a label type of girl. I carry the same handbag every day, and it’s not Hermès. I tend to gravitate toward accessories I can afford. The Vogue Eyewear doesn’t have an elite quality to it, which is important to me,” the starlet admitted.
“[The collection pieces] have a little of the feel of my favorite vintage dresses and flatter women’s curves. My mom, my two sisters and two of my nieces are my guinea pigs.”
The latest Vogue Eyewear collection featuring glamorous and refined pieces and having Eva Mendes as new brand ambassador is set to be launched this fall. Oh, and let's not forget to mention that Jude Law is the face of the Vogue Eyewear collection for men.
