New York based jewelry designer Amanda Assad Mounser has
channelled her energy to create a statement chic jewelry collection
that has the ability to complete the outfits developed for the new
season. Her Assad Mounser jewelry collection for fall/winter 2011
brings statement pieces that attract attention from first glimpse,
not only through design, but also through the colors and materials
used in the creation process.
Although with a relative short background, as the company's premier line was out in late 2009, the company managed to attract a generous amount of attention and appreciation from fashion magazines and not only, clearing a path for Assad Mounser jewelry to the counters of some of the finest luxury retail stores.
Assad Mounser's fall winter 2011 jewelry collection is very diverse, bringing '70s inspired glam rock elements that are a magnet for attention. The stylish oversized appearance of the designs makes them a perfect match for both modern and vintage style attire, creating a very bold and stylish appearance that will surely not go by unnoticed. Amanda Mounser also worked for Moschino and Alejandro Ingelmo prior to launching her own jewelry line, so no wonder the designer knows how to make the best out of a look using accessories.
According to the designer, the Assad Mounser's fall winter 2011 jewelry collection focuses on music influenced styles.
“The focus is on it-girl in town to the Rolling Stones Anita Pallenberg, and the British interpretation of fashion at the time. Other influences include the music and styling of Iggy Pop, David Bowie, Brian Eno and The Rolling Stones themselves.”
The collection fused organic materials such as agate, druze and quartz with chains and ammunition shaped details, to create a bold, flirty and seductive collection perfect for women who adopt various styles. Mixing gold, black, silver and gunmetal with neon hues such as turquoise, royal blue, green, dark red, Amanda managed to create designs that look amazing paired with a variety of colored outfits.
