This year's Christmas gift is a Guy Ritchie movie to hit the cinemas. It's about Sherlock Holmes we're talking about. It has a perfect cast, classic story inspired from Arthur Conan Doyle's work and it will be Warner Bros. Last movie to be released in the 2000s.

The latest version of Sherlock Holmes and the newest image he got, is from film director Guy Ritchie. It is mostly based on humor, a modern and bohemian Sherlock, a dynamic story yet based on the legendary intellect of the main character.

The cast is also appealing, having Robert Downey Jr. as Sherlock Holmes and Jude Law as Dr. Watson, Rachel McAdams as Irene Adler, Mark Strong as Lord Blackwood, Eddie Marsan as Inspector Lestrade. These actors will perform a new Sherlock, a completely new one that's mixed in a unique way with slow motion scenes, sexy and rousing that will transform the character of the literary detective. It will be rather fantastic than traditional, Sherlock not only solving crimes but revealing fighting skills, besides his intellect.

Watson Blackwood

The action drama will reveal a plot that could have destroyed the country with the very same ingenious skills as Sherlock stopped many other conspiracies to. The single thing that's changed this time is the funny, modern style the characters got even in their outfit. There's no more deerstalker, getting a style that seems more like an artist or a poet.

Be prepared to enjoy a legendary story in a modern concept and a contemporary performance. It is a Christmas experience not to be forgotten, a Sherlock like you've never seen before. Distributed worldwide in cinemas on 25th of December, 2009.
