Victoria Beckham Gives Birth to Baby Girl

Finally it's a pink day for David and Victoria Beckham as the couple has welcomed a baby girl. Harper Seven Beckham was born on Sunday and the family is thrilled about the newest member of the family. Find out more details next!

After years of waiting for a baby girl to join their family, David Beckham and Victoria Beckham welcame a baby girl this Sunday morning at 7:55 a.m at Cedar-Sinai in Los Angeles. The couple, who already has three boys, Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz has shared their desire to have a baby girl even before Victoria has announced her pregnancy. Apparently, their prayers were heard as the fourth child of the family is a girl.

David Beckham announced the new addition to the family via his facebook account where he wrote to all his fans:

“I am so proud and excited to announce the birth of our daughter Harper Seven Beckham. She weighed a healthy 7lbs 10oz and arrived at 7.55 this morning, here in LA. Victoria is doing really well and her brothers are delighted to have a baby sister xx”.

Harper Seven Beckham will definitely bring the “pink” back into a testosterone filled house as Victoria Beckham has stated in an interview that their house has too much testosterone already. Apparently, as the couple found out another baby was on the way, they expected to have another boy, although they hoped to be blessed with a girl, as they went for a scan and the doctor said: “Oh, it's a boy,”. Victoria's reaction according to David was: “Ugh. Another penis in the house.” But things took an unexpected turn by the time of the second scan when the doctor said: “Oh, we think it's a girl.”

Harper Seven Beckham was born by elected Caesarean and everything went as planned. As soon as the couple announced their joy of becoming new parents, the messages came flooding. Fans, friends as well as family wrote the happy couple congratulation messages.
David Beckham's sister Joanne tweeted “Big congrats to my sister in law @victoriabeckham and my big bro on the birth of my beautiful niece :) can't wait 2 see u all xx”

Mel B who is also expecting, congratulated the couple via twitter and wrote:
“Congrats!!! Yipeee another spice baby is born, damn it wish it was me this AM cos I feel like I'm about to POP!”

Victoria Beckham was not too keen on showing off her baby bump throughout her pregnancy and turned towards fashion for help. She concealed her pregnancy with the help of stylish maternity dresses that fell more loosely around her body, for a comfortable and barely visible baby bump look. However, David Beckham wanted to show everyone how fabulous his pregnant wife is and posted a picture of pregnant Victoria Beckham on his Facebook account.
