Taylor Swift covers 'Teen Vogue' August 2011 and looks absolutely pretty in a special shoot, surrounded by lots of flowers in a vintage, glam scenery. In the cover story, the young star dishes on her music and the nervousness before performing, her best friends, and her favorite dress. Take a glimpse at some highlights from Taylor's interview with 'Teen Vogue'.
Taylor Swift graces the cover of
yet another magazine. This time is Teen Vogue, for their August
2011 issue. The 21-year-old singer flaunts a dreamy, feminine look
in a vintage, old glam shoot made by Daniel Jackson. In the
interview, Taylor talked to the magazine about how she manages to
control her nerves before performing, her best friends, and what
she would be if she weren't a singer.
"I'd be doing something creative and idea-related—like coming up
with ad campaigns or writing novels. Or I'd work with kids," the
young star told 'Teen Vogue'.
Still, we all agree that lovely Taylor is a talented singer, not
just a pretty face that always has stunning, stylish appearances.
And even though she is so loved by her fans, Taylor experiences a
certain feeling of nervousness before going on stage. "I do [get
nervous]. But only if I’m not sure what the audience thinks of me,
like at award shows. I never look down at the front row! My heroes
watching = nerves," she admitted in the interview.
Taylor is known for her amazing, flawless red carpet outfits.
Throughout time she changed a lot, proving she became a more
mature, self-confident girl. Speaking about her favorite dress
which she wears the most, Taylor told the magazine that, "I get to
wear it every night on tour at the end of the show when I’m singing
'Love Story.' It’s long and sparkly (big surprise, right?) and a
total princess dress."
Taylor also opened to the magazine about her close friends and
considers herself extremely blessed to have people she loves and on
whom she can rely on. "My friends all have different jobs — some I
get to see at award shows, some I see when they’re home from
college, some are in my band! I’m so lucky to have so many people I
love and trust."
On which character she would choose to have dinner with, the
beautiful singer says that, "Detective Olivia Benson from Law &
Order S.V.U. I sit in my apartment and watch hours of that show. So
I sort of feel like me and Olivia are BFFs."
What inspires her right now? "'She's So High' by Tal Bachman (the
sweetest song !!), 'You Learn' by Alanis Morissette, 'Shot in the
Dark' by Augustana," Taylor admits.
