It seems that Nicole Scherzinger's decision to go to 'Deadlock' with Rachel Crow and Marcus Canty put the diva into a hotspot as post the shocking Rachel Crow elimination, Nicole was slammed with hateful messages. Find out more details next!
The X Factor show that took place on Thursday was filled with
surprises for everyone as the show's 13 year old frontrunner Rachel
Crow was eliminated from the competition after judge Nicole Scherzinger voted her
to go to 'Deadlock' with Marcus Canty. Nicole Scherzinger's
decision was booed by the public and once the results were in,
everyone was in shock. The decision lead to hateful messages
targeted towards the ex 'Pussycat Dolls' singer and it seems that
this hurt the diva.
Rachel Crow's elimination shocked the 13 year old as she went down
on her knees on stage at the news she was voted off the show. The
young singer burst into tears and got the jury panicking over how
to calm the young contestant. When Rachel's mother came on stage,
the 13 year old singer yelled to her mom:
“'Mommy you promise me!”
It appears that Nicole's decision to let America vote instead on
making a save, triggered fury among the show's fans, so the
internet was flooded with hateful messages aiming at Nicole. The
diva appeared shocked by the voter's decision and was in tears as
Rachel burst into tears on stage.
Although Nicole had no comments when asked by the show's presenter,
Steve Jones, if she had something to say, the diva changed her mind
after the waters calmed post-show. According to People, Nicole
said:
“My heart comes from the right place so I get really sensitive when
people are negative. I'm like, 'Don't they know I only want the
best for every single person?' ... I want them to be the best they
can be. Ultimately America made the choice.
I wasn't going to be the one to send anyone home. Did I think
America probably would have chosen Rachel? ... The probability was
that they would have sent Marcus home.”
The shock on Nicole's face was visible as she saw young Rachel
breaking down on stage and everyone was trying to sooth the pain of
the 13 year old. Nicole was speechless and says it was difficult to
see her cry. She said:
“When I saw that look on her face [I felt] that I let her down,
like I dropped her. I could have been holding on and I dropped her.
She is the sunshine of our show, so it's hard to see her cry.”
Apparently, Rachel Crow visited Nicole Scherzinger in her dressing
room after the show and told her that “everything is gonna be
okay”. Nicole told People that she told Crow that:
“You know how much I love and adore you. I've always believed in
you. I'm so sorry all of this happened like this. But I didn't send
you home, babe.”
Rachel Crow also took it on Twitter to defend Nicole after hateful
messages were flooding the internet and wrote:
“Thank u so much to all my fans I love you so much. I am sad
tonight but I will bounce back and be fine tomorrow :)”
Another one of her Tweets said:
“Please don't be angry with @nicolesherzy she was put in such a
tough position. I love u all so much”
It seems that Nicole is trying to handle things as best as she can
as she also told People that she is trying to take it one day at a
time. She said:
“For now, I have to focus on getting through these next few weeks.
All I can do is just try to be the best person and mentor and judge
through this whole process and take it one day at a time.”
