Victoria’s Secret has worked with some of the biggest supermodels in the world, but it has also helped propel others to the top. Some even went on to design their own lingerie lines after turning in their angel wings.

The American model was already on her way up when she became an Angel in 2011. She had been named one of the top 30 models of the 2000s by Vogue Paris, and her impact in the fashion world continued to grow.
In 2014, she designed her own eyewear line, Karlie Kloss x Warby Parker, became the new face of L’Oreal Paris, and she covered the March 2015 issue of Vogue along with her best friend Taylor Swift.
There’s no denying that Gisele is the most successful former Victoria’s Secret Angel. After collaborating with the lingerie brand from 2000 to 2007, the Brazilian supermodel decided she needed to move on, and Victoria’s Secret shared fell by almost a third after her departure. Bündchen has been the highest paid model in the world for over a decade, and even created her own lingerie line, Brazilian Intimates.
After becoming an Angel in 2008, the Dutch model continued to represent the lingerie brand for 6 more years, before leaving at the end of 2014. Kroes has worked with some of the biggest names in the fashion and became the first model in history to cover of 4 international editions of Vogue in the same month. She was also the second highest paid model in the world in 2014.
Definitely one of the most successful former Victoria’s Secret Angels, Tyra Banks was one of the original 5, and she continued to model lingerie for the company until 2005. Tyra’s TV career already makes her a huge brand, but she’s also a successful author, with two books under her belt, and an actress, with more than 10 movie appearances.
Even though she’s been modeling for Victoria’s Secret since 2006, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley only became an official Angel in 2009. The English model left the lingerie brand just one year later and starred in “Transformers: Dark of the Moon” the following year. She’s continued to focus on her acting career, and starred alongside Charlize Theron and Tom Hardy in “Mad Max: Fury Road”.

The former runway model is one of the most successful former Victoria’s Secret Angels, and her name contributed to the brand’s success from 1999 to 2010. She was the first and only German Angel so far, and used the exposure to land her big TV gig, “Project Runway”. Klum has also built her own fashion empire with everything from activewear and maternity wear to her recent lingerie line, Heidi Klum Intimates.
The Czech model is also one of the most successful former Victoria’s Secret Angels, even though her tenure only lasted for 3 years, from 2005 to 2008. After leaving behind the lingerie brand, Kurkova had a son, but also focused on her acting career. In 2013, she released her own fragrance and placed 6th on the Forbes list of highest-paid models.
After becoming the first Australian Angel in 2007, Miranda Kerr stayed with Victoria’s Secret until 2013. The model created her own line of organic skincare products, Kora Organics, wrote two self help books, and even released her first single in 2014.
The French actress and model was an Angel from 1998 to 2000, then continued her successful modeling career and started acting. Her movie career took off, and Casta has starred in over 25 films, and even got nominated for the Cesar Award of the Best Supporting Actress, the French equivalent of the Oscars.
She was already a supermodel when she became one of the original 5 Angels, and even though she left after one year, Helena Christensen is one of the most successful former Victoria’s Secret Angels. She launched her own fashion line and became a fashion photographer published in Elle and Marie Claire.
