Mila Kunis Is the New Face of Christian Dior

Mila Kunis has been announced as the latest beauty to model for the legendary French house, Christian Dior. The beautiful 28-year-old actress is the new face of Miss Dior handbag collection and will appear in the house's spring/summer 2012 advertisement campaign.

Gorgeous actress Mila Kunis has just been named as the newest face of French house Christian Dior. The 28-year-old 'Friends With Benefits' star models for the Miss Dior handbag collection and appears in Dior's spring/summer 2012 advertisement campaign, shot by Mikael Jansson and released worldwide this month in international editions of famous glossy magazines. Later this month, the campaign will be launched in China and on January 29 in the U.S. in The New York Times.

"Mila Kunis is a very talented young actress; she embodies the true modern woman. Her performance in 'Black Swan' was remarkable. She is very gifted. We are looking forward to a long relationship with her," said Delphine Arnault, deputy general manager at Dior.

Arnault also talked about the house's preference for actresses. "Christian Dior designed several costumes for the movies and maintained personal relationships with such actresses as Marlene Dietrich, Rita Hayworth, Ava Gardner, Sophia Loren, Marilyn Monroe, Liz Taylor and Grace Kelly. It is thus only natural for the house of Dior to continue to develop a very specific and personal relationship with actresses," she explained.

Speaking about her new gig, Mila Kunis said in a statement that she's very excited to work with the legendary house. "I am absolutely thrilled to be working with Dior. The brand is iconic in so many ways. It defines fashion, elegance and sophistication," the Ukraine-born actress confessed.
She then told WWD that, "I’m honestly just learning about fashion. In my daily life, I don’t wear the most feminine pieces. But I love to feel feminine when I’m on the red carpet. I find that Dior is an incredibly grounded house. I always thought what Dior does is so sophisticated, feminine and beautiful."

Mila Kunis is the latest celebrity to join the Dior family alongside French actress Marion Cotillard, who is the current ambassador of the Lady Dior handbags, but also her Oscar-winning 'Black Swan' co-star Natalie Portman, who is the face of the Miss Dior Cherie perfume, and Charlize Theron, who models for the J'Adore Dior fragrance.
