Talented 'Friends with Benefits' actress Mila Kunis is the latest star to front the April's Harper's Bazaar cover. Inside the issue, she dishes on subjects like her career, life as a single woman or her view concerning plastic surgery and more. Check out a few snippets from the interview.
Talented, beautiful and easy going, Mila Kunis has become one of
the Hollywood's favorite girls and it's easy to see why. In the
latest issue of Harper's Bazaar the actress is showing her glamor
yet innocent side in a spectacular carousel photo shoot done by
none other than the talented Terry Richardson. The 28 year old
hottie sports some of the season's hottest creations from grand
fashion houses like Alexander McQueen, Chanel, Roberto Cavalli,
Dolce & Gabbana, YSL or Versace.
With the myriad of spectacular looks she displays for the magazine
alone, it's no wonder Dior has enlisted her as brand ambassador.
Still, she received the news with great modesty:"It literally just
happened. I was trying on these dresses, and I was like, 'How did I
get here?' ", she stated. With the same relaxed attitude regarding
this lucrative deal, the actress confessed that the 'Black Swan'
movie, which consolidated her fame was another project she wasn't
sure would be a success: "I honestly thought, 'This is going to be
a Darren Aronofsky movie. Maybe people will see it, maybe they
won't.' I didn't for one second think, 'I'm making a movie about
ballerinas. People are gonna run to see this.'"
The award movie has brought her more than amazing popularity.
Losing 20 pounds has led to a few rather unexpected changes in her
body which "has never been the same. My shape is different. When I
got down to 95 pounds, I was muscles, like a little brick house,
but skin and bones. When I gained it back, it went to completely
different areas." And these areas weren't the ones she necessarily
preferred: 'All the weight that left my chest went to my side hip,
my stomach." Still, she wouldn't refuse to do it again.
Despite her lean physique, Mila loves not only to eat but also to
cook:"I can make anything out of leftovers. I want to be a judge
on Top Chef." Her skills are also part of the reason why she
prefers to stay at home as opposed to going out: "I don't go out
very often. I prefer to stay home and have a nice little beverage
and watch television. My glass of wine and I are besties.'
Working out keeps her in top shape and she doesn't really think
about turning to plastic surgery for improvement, at least for now:
"I will not put a needle in my body unless I have a medical
reason," she says, "but ask me in 10 years. Right now, I'm like,
'I'm going to embrace it,' but ... I'm probably going to want to
have something done. I have no doubt."
Aside from being comfortable with her body, she is also completely
fine with being single despite the fact that she views her past
relationship with Macaulay Culkin as 'fantastic': "I mean, I
honestly think being single's great. Being in a relationship's
great. It's all about the timing. I loved it." Besides, she's ultra
busy and this is one of the reasons she wasn't asked out much, she
states:"I don't get asked out. This past year, I haven't been home,
so who's going to ask me?"
