Twilight fans are in shock as US Magazine released exclusive pictures of actress Kristen Stewart cheating on Robert Pattinson with a married man, none other than 'Snow White and the Huntsman' director Rupert Sanders. The 22 year old actress has been in a relationship with her Twilight co-star Robert for three years and it seems that things might have just hit rock bottom after the magazine chose to run the story that puts Kristen in a bad light.

Apparently, Robert was blindsided by the news of his girlfriend cheating as he was informed by the magazine just before printing the story and his fans are going wild on Twitter over the cheating rumors. This is definitely one of the biggest scandals of the year, especially since along the story run, the publication also featured some saucy snaps which reveal the 'Snow White and the Huntsman' star and the film's director engaging in some PDA.

According to US Weekly, the discovery was made by a photog that was following Kristen as she was heading home, the 'love nest' she shares with R-Patz, and apparently after answering a phone call, the actress diverted from her route and headed towards the west side, arriving at an abandoned building, where, even to the photog's surprise, Kristen met Rupert Sanders. According to reports the two engaged in a makeout session and 'seemed like they couldn't get enough of each other.'

The shock comes as Kristen and Rob had an apparent rock-solid relationship, and Rupert Sanders, 41, looked happily married to his British Vogue model wife, Liberty Ross, 33, with whom he has two children aged 5 and 7. The two had no option but to admit their infidelity as 'a picture is sometimes worth 1000 words' and there is more than just an incriminating picture featured in the magazine.
Thus, a public statement was issued first by Kristen and then followed by Rupert Sanders, which confirm the story and which express their remorse over their actions. According to People, Kristen said that "I'm deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I've caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected. This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry", while Rupert Sanders confessed that:

“I am utterly distraught about the pain I have caused my family. My beautiful wife and heavenly children are all I have in this world. I love them with all my heart. I am praying that we can get through this together.”

While Robert Pattinson has not issued a public statement yet, Mr. Sander's wife posted a quote via her Twitter account which said 'sometimes bad things fall apart so better things can fall together', right before deleting her account.

Twitter fans have quickly reacted to the news, siding with their fav celebrity; Kristen's fans saying that it's her young age that led to this mishap, Robert Pattinson's fans claim that Rob didn't deserve this, while the couple's fans think that the pics and the statements might be fake.
