It seems the Kardashian clan keeps expanding as the family just welcomed its newest member, Kourtney Kardashian's second child, baby daughter Penelope Scotland. Find out more details, next!

It's a joyful moment for the Kardashian family as they have just welcomed the newest member to their family, Kourtney Kardashian's second child, Penelope Scotland. Kourtney, who also has a 2 year old son, Mason, with her long term boyfriend Scott Disick, has given birth to a 7 pounds and 14 ounces baby girl, early Sunday at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

The 33 year old reality TV star confirmed to E!News that they are again proud parents of a healthy girl, saying "Scott and I are overjoyed to welcome our precious angel Penelope Scotland Disick into our lives. We are forever blessed. Mommy and baby are resting comfortably."

Kourtney, who videotaped and released intimate footage of her birth at the time she welcomed her first baby, Mason, opted yet again to film her delivery. According to Kourtney, she released the birthing video as she wanted to show women that giving birth doesn't have to involve the heavy screaming portrayed in movies and that it can be a calm and peaceful experience.

Giving birth to baby Penelope Scotland was, according to Kris Jenner, 'great'. The overjoyed 'momager' told E! that:

“She had an easy delivery. [Penelope] is so cute. She looks just like Mason. She's so beautiful. We are so happy.”

Obviously, the rest of the Kardashian family took it to their blogs and Twitter accounts to let the world know there's a new member in their family. Kim Kardashian confessed in a recent interview to love being an auntie and to being obsessed with Mason and wrote on her blog that:

“The whole family is so thrilled to finally meet her! She is absolutely perfect! I am so excited to be an aunt again and can't wait to spoil little Penelope. I know Mason is going to be the best big brother in the whole world.”

Khloe Kardashian, who is also trying to start her own family with her hubby, basketball player Lamar Odom, also shared her joy of becoming an aunt on her personal blog, where she wrote:

“I'm an auntie again!!!!!!!!!! As I'm sure you all know, my beautiful big sister gave birth yesterday to the most perfect baby girl you've EVER seen. The entire family is literally exploding with joy and have not stopped fawning over our new little girl. And Mason is already loving being a big brother! This is just such a special and happy time for my family.”

So far no pics of baby Penelope Scotland have been released, but we're sure that the Kardashians won't resist the temptation of showing off their newest member.
