Kim Kardashian looks naturally beautiful on the March 2012 cover of Allure magazine. In the accompanying interview, the 31-year-old reality star opens up and dishes on working on a fresh start, on her life and future plans. Take a nosey at these highlights from Kim's cover story!
Kim Kardashian
flaunts her undeniable sultry looks as she graces Allure's March
2012 cover. After passing through a tumultuous period, the
31-year-old reality star doesn't lose her optimism and confesses
she is working on a fresh start. "I think I will always believe in
love, no matter what," she says in the interview.
In August 2011, Kim married basketball player Kris Humphries in a
spectacular, fascinating wedding. Unfortunately, seventy-two days
later she filed for divorce.
Speaking with Allure about her life and her future, Kardashian
admits that, "Is it tough to watch [the show]? Yeah. Tough to see
an unhappy time in your life. Do I think there are more haters than
before? Not really. But I think this has given them a platform to
have a louder voice. Will I be more private of a person? Am I more
guarded? Absolutely. But, also, I'm a firm believer that my show is
who I am."
But with two failed marriages behind her, it is possible for Kim to
still be dreaming of starting a family? "Do I want kids of my own?
Absolutely. But I don't know if that's what's meant for me. Maybe
I'll just work, work, work, and not think about it," the reality
star says in the cover story.
In October 2007, along with her two sisters, mother, brother,
half-sisters, and stepfather Kim starred in the E! television
series 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians.' Speaking about letting
cameras into her life and having limits, the 31-year-old hottie
told Allure that, "People [think] because you film your life on a
reality show, you live everything for the cameras. But we all have
limits. My mom has no limits. We need someone, right, to have no
limits? That's my mom."
When it comes to Kardashian's limits, it seems that they are
evolving. Well, it was even a time when she thought she wanted an
ongoing record of her marriage for posterity. "When I saw Khloé and
Lamar get married - and they had their wedding on TV — I thought,
Oh, my gosh, that's so exciting! That's what I want! If you were to
ask me now, that's not what I want," Kardashian confesses.
Regrets? If Kardashian has regrets about sharing so much of her
personal life on camera, she doesn't think too much about them.
Still, she says that the experience "definitely made me want to be
more private with my relationship, whenever I choose to get into
one again. I'm not ready, but when that time comes, I'll be more
cautious about who I let my world open up to."
The star is famed for asking her 12 million Twitter followers
(she calls them "dolls") what color lipstick she should wear. And
even though it might sound rather impossible, when they respond,
she actually takes their advice. And it's this mix of fantasy and
accessibility that makes audiences tune in to her family's
shows.
"It's the glitz and the glam, but then we have the normal fights. I
get a lot [of comments] like 'I have no sisters and I wish I did'
or 'I have tons of sisters, and we're just like you!' There are so
many of us, someone can relate to one of us in the family," Kim
told Allure.
On having children, Kardashian confesses that, "Khloé joked with me
and said, 'Will you be my surrogate?' I said, 'I think I have a
couple more years when I just want my body to myself. At 35, I
promise I'll consider it.'"
Speaking about her future wedding, Kim tells the magazine that if
this should happen, this time she would do it without the cameras.
"I would just want it to be so special, with our family and close
friends, and that's it. Somewhere on a deserted island, very
private. No cameras," the 31-year-old reality star says.
