Olay has chosen its new spokeswoman for 2011. Kim Cattrall, best know for her role in the 'Sex and the City' series will the face of Olay Total Effects anti aging line. Find out more about the collaboration between the actress and the brand.
The beginning of the new year seems to be a perfect opportunity
for retailers to devise their marketing strategies for the new
season and announce their new brand ambassadors.
The Olay Total Effects anti aging line will be represented in 2011 by the well known actress Kim Cattrall. The advertising campaign for The Total Effects 7-in-1 Advanced Anti-Aging Body Wash is set to start in February 28 on TV, however magazine ads will only be released in April.
Although Olay representatives have not made many comments regarding their choice, the beautiful actress went on to express her appreciation for the brand she is now representing:
"It's important that I keep my body skin looking smooth and radiant. Now that I’ve swapped to Olay Total Effects 7-in-1 Advanced Anti-Aging Body Wash and Body Lotion, it's never been easier to achieve firm skin that looks younger after just one shower."
An early release of the advertising campaign shows Kim looking extremely radiant and feminine in a beautiful long one shoulder dress. Exuding confidence and happiness, the actress proves to be an excellent choice for the brand as it clearly delivers a strong positive message within the first few seconds. Although some might argue that Photoshop might have been excessively used in order to create a more youthful, flawless image the company insists that very few retouches were made on the photos.
Asked if she is thinking about plastic surgery in the near future Kim replied that she is not ready for such procedures and that she is doing her best to take care of her body through less invasive methods: 'I try and take care of myself, but I don’t ever want to get to the point where I don’t see myself, that would be really scary'.
