'Boyfriend' singer Justin Bieber graces the cover of Seventeen where he dishes on his mentor's advice, on his relationship with actress and singer Selena Gomez and more. Check out excerpts of his interview and a selection of his photo spread for Seventeen, next!
'Boyfriend' hitmaker Justin Bieber took
a bit of time off the studio to sit down for a chat and take part
in a stylish photo session with Seventeen magazine where he shared
info with regards to his romantic relationship with teen
actress/singer Selena Gomez, the
advice he received from his mentor Usher as well as his biggest
fear.
Having met fame at quite a young age, heartthrob Justin Bieber has
grown-up and evolved music-wise in the public eye, and although he
is channeling his energy into more grown-up lyrics, the singer
states that he still wishes to make music that appeals to everyone.
He tells Seventeen in an exclusive interview that:
“A lot of times, when artists grow older, they lose their younger
fans because they're just trying to get older fans. But if you try
to make good music, then you'll just appease everybody. I just want
to make music that's good for everybody.”
The media went crazy in 2010 when Justin has been linked to
bombshell Selena Gomez and now that their relationship has been
made official Justin is no longer shy to talk about his
relationship with the Disney Channel hottie. He tells the magazine
about his long-term romantic relationship with Selena that:
“I'm just trying to make her happy, that's all. I think it's
important to make all women feel like they're princesses, because
every girl is a princess. I'm serious.”
The singer seems quite grounded considering his age as well as his
social status and apparently the advice he received from his mentor
Usher helped him stay focused on what's important. He tells the
magazine that:
“Usher is who I look to for guidance. From the beginning, he told
me to put family first and you'll always succeed, because your
family will never leave you. He told me to always stay humble and
never forget where I came from.”
Despite the fact that he has an impeccable career and the bank
account to go along with it, the 18 year old heartthrob states that
he does have fears and that his biggest fear is loosing someone
dear. He reveals to Seventeen that:
“Losing a family member is my biggest fear. I've never lost anyone,
so I don't know what the feeling would be. It would just be
scary.”
