Breakups and babies are the latest trends in showbiz. Another cute celebrity couple decided to call time on their relationship. Joe Jonas and Ashley Greene are said to have amicably split. It seems that their romance ended a few weeks ago, the main reason for this being their work schedules.

When it comes to Hollywood relationships nothing seems to take us by surprise. Divorces and breakups are so popular, and, lately, beautiful celebrity couples ended their love story after years of relationship or marriage. Most of these separations are made in friendly terms and the reasons behind them remain a complete mystery.

Now, another young couple decided to call it quits. Joe Jonas and 'Twilight' hottie Ashley Greene, who started dating last summer, are rumored to have parted ways a few weeks ago. It is said that the couple had grown apart due to their work schedules that probably kept them in separate places. Some sources have claimed that the split was "mutual and amicable." A rep for Greene couldn't be reached, while Jonas' rep declined to comment.

We don't know how much Hollywood love lasts, yet we are pretty much impressed by the changes made in record time. The 21-year-old Jonas Brother and 24-year-old Ashley Greene were introduced last summer, in London, by mutual friends and everything seemed to work perfectly.

In February, Ashley and Joe were spotted kissing, holding hands and dancing at Ashley's 24th birthday party. She received a very special birthday present from her boyfriend, a luxury gold Chanel bracelet.

Moreover, everyone expected for their relationship to be taken to the next level. Joe's friends said that, "Even though Joe has had plenty of high-profile girlfriends in the past few years, he is impressed with Ashley’s joy of life and dedicated work ethic. They are both well grounded and have a basic understanding of who they are."

Besides, Joe talked about his relationship with Ashley in the April issue of 'Details' magazine saying that it "feels good". "I think what works about it is she really puts my feelings first. She understands my busy schedule," he said. Joe even went to Jacksonville, Florida, in order to meet her parents. "Her dad can drink me to shame. He's awesome," the singer told the magazine.

Both Joe and Ashley are currently in New York. He is working on his new solo album from which the first single will be released next month. Ashley is making a new campaign for cosmetics brand mark, but she is also filming "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn" and will appear in "LOL" with Demi Moore and "Butter" with Jennifer Garner this year.
