Pop-star-turned-fashion guru Jessica Simpson welcomed baby girl Maxwell Drew Johnson on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 and it seems that the star opted for the VIP treatment to welcome her baby girl into the world. Check out a sneak-peek of Jessica's VIP maternity suite, next!
Finally, after what seemed like years of waiting,
actress/singer/designer Jessica Simpson
welcomed baby girl Maxwell Drew in a luxury hospital suite. Jessica
and her fiancé Eric Johnson announced the birth of their little
bundle of joy, who weighed at birth 9 pounds 13 ounces and measured
21 ¾ inches, via Jessica's website, where the couple wrote to their
fans:
“Eric and I are elated to announce the birth of our baby girl,
Maxwell Drew Johnson. We are so grateful for all of the love,
support and prayers we have received. This has been the greatest
experience of our lives!!”
Jessica Simpson caused a stir lately due to her pregnancy weight
gain, but it seems that the diva was apparently not affected by all
the negativity surrounding the subject as she seemed to enjoy her
pregnancy to the max, flaunting her baby bump proudly with every
occasion. The much awaited moment, her due date, apparently came on
Tuesday, May 1st, 2012, when the diva checked into a VIP birthing
suite at Cedar-Sinai Hospital in L.A.
The hospital has several VIP suites available for patients who can
spare a buck or more precisely $3,784 a day for the luxurious
maternity suite, which is how Jessica had to snag for her private 3
bedroom, 2 bath hospital suite, this according to TMZ.
Reportedly, the cost of her deluxe maternity accommodation ran even
higher than the hospital suite reserved by People's most beautiful
woman, Beyonce in 2011, the
then rumored $1 million suite which actually costed $3,200 a day,
in which she and her hubby Jay-Z welcomed their daughter, Blue
Ivy.
