She did it again! Jennifer Lawrence tripped and fell again at the 2014 Oscars, proving that those who don't learn from history are indeed doomed to repeat it. After falling down the stars at the 2013 Academy Awards, she managed to repeat the 'performance' by falling again, this time on the red carpet.
This time the star tripped on a traffic cone and created one of the funniest and most memorable Oscar 2014 moments. It's a good thing, though, that her sense of humor remained intact as she laughed off the whole incident stating: “I'm not safe”.
Of course, with Ellen DeGeneres as host, the moment was exploited at its true value. The star dedicated a significant portion of monologue to the incidents reminding everyone of last year's hilarious incident: “It’s ridiculous, something like that happens and it’s embarrassing, and people talk about it. For those of you who don’t know what I’m talking about, last year she fell on the way up…let’s show the clip.”
She then maximized the moment's entertaining value by continuing: “The thing when you fell out of the car tonight? No one needs to know that, I’m not going to mention that. She fell out of the car, like on an orange cone you tripped or something.” But the talented host also came with a suggestion to help prevent such accidents from happening: “If you win tonight, I think we should bring you the Oscar. We can do that, right?”
Naturally, Jennifer Lawrence's falls at the Oscars, which seems to have become one of the star's Academy Awards tradition didn't go unnoticed on Twitter. Though some were surprised to see the star fell yet again, others seemed to think that the whole moment was orchestrated for the public's amusement and thus didn't buy the theory that she just did it again despite stating that she prepared this time by doing a 'stairs test' in her Dior gown this time.
Well, while we don't know if it's true, we do now one thing for sure: Jennifer Lawrence has had the most gif-able red carpet moments this year.
