Apparently, Megan Fox wasn't the one who made the decision not to star in the latest Transformers movie as according to Michael Bay, the hottie got fired. Find out more details next!
Rumor has it that Hollywood hottie Megan Fox got fired from 'Transformers: Dark
of the Moon' says Michael Bay, but it wasn't his decision.
According to People, Michael Bay says it was Steven Spielberg to
call the shot and said to have her fired.
Megan Fox's representatives told People last year that it was
Megan's decision not to return for the sequel of Transformers, but
this and Bay's claims don't coincide. So what really happened?
Well, before starting to shoot Transformers 3, Dark of the Moon,
Megan told a British magazine that Michael Bay, the director of the
film was no fun to work with. She said Michael "wants to be like
Hitler on his sets” and that working with him has been a
“nightmare”.
Not long after Megan's statement, she was replaced in the movie and
that caused everyone to wonder why the hottie doesn't want to star
in the successful movie. Michael Bay said that Megan was fired, but
it was not his decision, it was Steven Spielberg's call. Michael
told GQ for the July issue that Megan wasn't focused and that was
the main reason she was fired. He said:
“She was in a different world, on her BlackBerry. You gotta stay
focused. And you know, the Hitler thing. Steven (Spielberg) said,
'Fire her right now.'”
As far as Megan's remark, Michael says he wasn't hurt about the
entire comment, but did fire back and said:
“I wasn't hurt, because I know that's just Megan. Megan loves to
get a response. And she does it in kind of the wrong way. I'm
sorry, Megan. I'm sorry I made you work twelve hours. I'm sorry
that I'm making you show up on time. Movies are not always warm and
fuzzy.”
Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox's co-star in Transformers also stated that
Megan's comments were a bit off. He told GQ that “criticism is one
thing. Then there's public name-calling, which turns into high
school bashing. Which you can't do. She started s#$%-talking our
captain.”
But apparently Megan doesn't hold any grudges as Bay says he has
received texts from Megan about 3 months ago in which she
wrote:
“I hope you're doing well.”
Michael says “when you're days and months on a set, it's like a
family. You say rude things and you make up.”
The fact that Megan didn't star in this movie is indeed a shame,
but all bad things for the best, as Megan's replacement is
Victoria's Secret model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Jason Statham's
super hot girlfriend.
