Emma Watson covers 'Seventeen' August 2011 and in the interview with the magazine the lovely 21-year-old actress talks celeb crushes, playing with colors, her love for art, living in a small dorm room, and friends. Take a look at some snippets in the cover story and at Emma's colorful and playful pictorial.
We don't know if it's the 'Harry Potter' effect, yet it is
obvious that there is something special and magic about Emma Watson. And her latest shoot is one
strong evidence in this sense. Emma covers 'Seventeen' August 2011
issue, looking relaxed and utterly adorable in vivid colors,
wearing natural makeup and her already
famous cute, sexy pixie cut, smiling and having fun.
In the interview with the magazine, 'The Perks of Being a Wall
Flower' star talks celeb crushes, playing with fashion and colors,
her love for art and what she would do if it weren't for 'Harry
Potter', friends, and living in a tiny dorm room.
"Reducing your life down to three pairs of jeans, two skirts, a
couple of shirts, and a few pairs of shoes was so nice for me. I
really loved living in this tiny room where I didn’t’ have space
for anything. It sounds really lame, but it made me feel a lot more
free, because I just didn’t have as many choices," Emma says about
living in a dorm room.
The 21-year-old actress admits in the cover story that she is an
active person. "I dance a lot and I run and do yoga and play field
hockey and tennis. I like to be active. I don’t always have time
for that stuff, but I do always feel better afterward," Emma told
'Seventeen'.
In the pictorial for Seventeen's August issue, Emma struck a
series of playful, fun poses, wearing youthful, vibrant colors. In
fact, the lovely, oh-so-stylish actress admits that off the set she
also loves to play with fashion. "I try to avoid wearing
black because sometimes it’s the easy option. But I’m young, so
it’s nice to be able to play with color and not just wear black all
the time. I can save that for when I’m older."
It was back in 1999, at the age of nine, when Emma auditioned for a
role in the 'Harry Potter' film series. It was due to her role as
Hermione Granger and her amazing acting talent that she became
famous. Still, what would have happened if it hadn't been for Harry
Potter? The young actress explains in the interview with the
magazine that, "If I hadn’t done Harry Potter, I would have gone
and done years of art. I really do love it, and I’d love to
write."
Speaking about celebrity crushes, Emma says that, "I’ve never
understood having crushes on people who you don’t know in real
life. I only crush on people I meet. I mean, I can appreciate that
someone is good-looking, obviously, but I don’t intend to fantasize
about people I don’t know!"
The actress proves she is a devoted friend. "I still have friends
from primary school. And my two best girlfriends are from secondary
school. I don’t have to explain anything to them. I don’t have to
apologize for anything. They know. There’s no judgment in any way,"
Emma told 'Seventeen'.
She also says that, "Most of my friends are doing their third year
abroad so I might do my third year abroad as well, and then come
back for my last year. I hope I could do that."
