David Beckham is most definitely one of the hottest soccer players in the world and women just can't get enough of looking at him. No wonder David was chosen to be the face and body of Emporio Armani lingerie line, but now David seems to want to take his talent a step further, as he confirms his underwear line.

David Beckham confirms underwear line seemingly after being highly inspired by the success of his wife, Victoria Beckham as a fashion designer. It seems fashion has always appealed to David as he is always seen uberly-stylish dressed so why not take things to another level, by designing his own underwear line since his posing in underwear for Emporio Armani has been a success. It's been reported that the ads featuring David Beckham in lingerie helped Emporio Armani boost sales.

“The whole planet went nuts when David stripped off for his Armani ads. Sales went through the roof. It was decided not to renew the Armani contract and develop a business of David’s own. He has seen how fulfilling it has been for Victoria to branch out into business and relishes a similar challenge.”

Well everyone needs undies so this will probably be a successful line, especially since David Beckham is not the first celebrity to go into the designing business. We absolutely loved seeing David in the Emporio Armani underwear ads and we can't wait for his first designs to come out.
However the plans are on but there is a long way until the line will hit the shelves. The collection doesn't have a name yet bit we are sure David will come up with something original and sexy!
