Oscar-winning actress Charlize Theron graces the cover of British Vogue where she chats with one of the magazine's writers about motherhood, career and more, but not before channeling her inner diva for a glamorous photoshoot with Vogue. 'Snow White and the Huntsman' bombshell actress Charlize Theron graces the cover of British Vogue where she gushes on her family, diving into motherhood with adopted son Jackson, acting role choices and more. Miss Theron also channeled her inner diva for the magazine, where she posed like a true modern glamour star. At 36 years old, Ms. Theron has managed to put together an incredible resume, with a modelling career to begin with and then an impressive active career which seems to be blossoming as time goes by. After posing seductively for the camera lens of Patrick Demarchelier, donning an array of designer ensembles, Charlize sat down for a chat with Vogue's Fiona Golfar, where she revealed details about her new life as a mom and more. When it comes to her family life, Charlize says that:

“I’ve always been very honest in saying I wanted a family. I’ve always known I wanted a family. I don’t think my mom could wait any more! I hope to be like my mom. Fair, tough, loving and supportive. My mom has made it possible for me to be who I am. Our family is everything. Her greatest skill was encouraging me to find my own person and own independence.”

The news that she adopted a baby boy shocked most of her fans as no one anticipated her move, but the diva says she couldn't be happier. Her baby boy is named Jackson and his adoption was announced in March 2012. The actress already stepped into her 'mom shoes' as she proudly told British Vogue that 'Jackson is incredible, the greatest gift. He is the coolest kid ever'.

Although Miss Theron has a great acting career, she began her quest for fame at 16 when she was hired not for an acting role but for a modelling role. As far as not making it big in the industry, despite the fact that she had and still has a gorgeous physique, due to her love for ballet and active lifestyle, Charlize states that:

“I was too tall, too big, too late for the supermodel look of the Eighties. Kate Moss and all the tiny, grungy girls had just become fashionable, and I didn’t fit the bill. I’m sure there are women who never have to worry about what they eat. But I do. I exercise a lot, and I hike a lot. My mom and I hike at least three times a week.”

As far as her acting role choices, Charlize tells the magazine that she tries to select roles that have a human side to them, a side revealed by vulnerability. She tells Vogue UK that:

“All my characters have to be people with a capacity for vulnerability, a weakness. I have never met a human being who doesn't have vulnerability.”
