We can now label 2012 as the celebrity baby year as the latest couple to reveal they are expecting a baby is none other than Channing Tatum aka Magic Mike and his Step-Up co-star turned wife, Jenna Dewan. Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan have confirmed the pregnancy and apparently they are elated to welcome a new soul into their family. The official statement released by the couple's rep to People said:
“Channing Tatum and his wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum are pleased to announce that they are expecting the birth of their first child next year.”


Channing and Jenna have been happily married since 2009, so it was obviously the next step in their relationship as the two have not concealed their desire to expand their family. The multi-talented actor revealed to People when he was crowned 'People's Sexiest Man Alive' that he and his honey, both 32, are ready to have babies. 'I'm ready; I think she's ready. The first number that pops into my head is three, but I just want one to be healthy and then we'll see where to go after that,' the actor said.

Well, they might have a long way to go until they reach their baby goal (unless they have triplets), but they're surely making progresses, starting with one and working their way up. However, Channing is not forgetting that it takes 'two to tango' and although he wants more kids, he knows that at the end of the day Jenna's going to have the last word.
“It's really easy for us guys to say 'I want like 15 kids'. Jenna will be like 'well, you better get another wife'”, the heartthrob jokingly told the magazine.

Although the couple has not turned towards the social network to share the joyful news with their fans, Jenna has apparently given her fans a glimpse of her expanding baby bump at the VH-1 Divas red carpet event in LA, where she wore a gorgeous lightweight floor-length strapless gown featuring subtle embellishments and held her hands around her body to underline her mid-section.
Hollywood will be packed with celebrity babies, so we just can't wait to catch a glimpse at Jenna and Channing's bundle of joy, next year!
