However, she enjoys the benefits a mostly alcohol-free lifestyle has on her complexion. “I think that ruins your skin. Of course, during celebratory toasts, everybody’s like, ‘You can’t toast with water!’ So I’ll toast with alcohol and just take a sip,” Lopez told InStyle magazine.
British pop singer Leona Lewis is more strict than Jennifer Lopez, so she doesn’t touch alcohol even on truly special celebrations. Alcohol is never a temptation for Lewis. “I don’t drink - I hate the taste of alcohol. When my debut single went to No.1, I celebrated with non-alcoholic champagne,” she told Glamour magazine.
After dealing with substance abuse issues and going to rehab more than once, Kelly Osbourne joined the list of celebrities who don’t drink in 2010. “I don’t drink at all. Even a glass of wine at dinner would probably mean me going home, getting s--t-faced and then being on drugs and doing something stupid that I have to spend the next three months apologizing for... I don’t like drinking that much as I hate throwing up and the taste of alcohol,” she explained.
While she claimed her first and last brush with alcohol was when she was 12, Tyra Banks has also admitted to enjoying just a sip or two of wine from time to time. “Every now and then I’ll order some wine at the table. I’ll only take two sips, but I’ll keep holding the glass cause it makes me feel sexy, but I still don’t drink it because it still tastes kind of nasty to me,” Tyra wrote on her website.
