It seems that Beyonce gave birth to her baby daughter Blue Ivy Carter just like a true VIP, in the private suite of the Lenox Hill Hospital in New York. Check out the 'penthouse' that housed the celebrity couple for a few days until they were allowed to head home with their bundle of joy!
Finally, a glimpse of Beyonce's hospital room from the Lenox
Hill Hospital in New York has been revealed to the public by TMZ.
The diva, who gave birth naturally to her daughter Blue Ivy
Carter on January 7th, 2012, has opted for the VIP suite of
the hospital, a room that features state of the art electronics, a
living area, a bedroom for the father and a small kitchen. This is
definitely by far your average room as its seemingly more of a
hotel suite.
Apparently, the executive suits were not created just for celebrities but for all the patients who
request this type of accommodation, however, the price tag that
comes along with such deluxe hospitalization has not been revealed
yet.
Just days after the celebrity couple checked out of their luxury
hospital accommodation, TMZ obtained various pictures of the suite
that 'housed' Beyonce, Blue and Jay-Z. With 4 flat screen TVs, a
living room for the visitors, a kitchen and a bedroom for the dad,
the executive suite is by far the best looking hospital room we've
ever taken a glimpse of.
The rumors which stated that Beyonce and Jay-Z spent $1.3 million to rent
an entire floor of the hospital have been dismissed by Lenox Hill's
executive director Frank Danza in an official statement, who,
according to People said:
“The suggestion that the couple paid $1.3 million to rent an entire
maternity floor is simply not true. The family is housed in an
executive suite at the hospital and is being billed the standard
rate for those accommodations. Our executive suites are available
for any patient, including the food service and amenities provided
to the Carter family. We have made every effort to ensure minimal
disruption to other families experiencing the births of their own
children over the past three days.”
