We don't know who runs the world, yet we have no doubt whatsoever who graces most of July's covers. After Essence, Dazed & Confused, and W Magazine, Beyonce strikes another gorgeous pose for L'Uomo Vogue July/August 2011. The sexy singer wears a jacket shirt and bowtie by Dior Homme, waistcoat by Corneliani, Acne shorts and shoes by Tom Ford.
Beyonce seems to have
a busy schedule lately. She covered Billboard
twice in just one month, she received Billboards’ first ever
Millennium Award and she has a new album, '4', set to come out on
June 28.
Now, the 29-year-old singer/actress is running most of the
magazine's covers for their July issue. After Dazed & Confused,
Essence, and 'W' Magazine, Beyonce is the latest cover girl of
L'Uomo Vogue July/August 2011. Lensed by
Italian fashion photographer Francesco Carrozzini and styled by
Rushka Bergman, Beyonce pulls a special appearance, different from
the ones we are used to. Wearing a jacket shirt and bowtie by Dior
Homme, waistcoat by Corneliani, Acne shorts and shoes by Tom Ford, the singer still looks sexy
in a more masculine, androgynous approach.
The July/August 2011 issue of L'Uomo Vogue has not one, but two
covers featuring two talented persons coming from different fields.
As we have already seen, Beyonce graces one of the covers.
Professional tennis player Novak Djokovic stars on the other cover
wearing a tailcoat Luigi Bianchi Mantova, shirt and waistcoat by
Charvet, and shoes by Church's, photographed by Matt Jones.
Beyonce also covers 'Essence' magazine, the July 2011 issue, and
stars in a special rodeo-inspired editorial. In the cover story,
titled "Eat, Play, Love", the beautiful singer talks about visiting
Egypt and the pyramids, taking a break, and the lessons her mother
had taught her.
On the effects of the nine-month break she took, Beyonce said
that:
"I had talked about taking a vacation before, but always ended up
in the studio after two weeks, so no one believed me. This time,
though, I was serious. I was going to give myself a year to do the
things I never get to do. Simple things like play with my nephew,
pick him up from school, visit museums, go to concerts, see some
Broadway shows, learn to cook a meal and spend time with my
husband… Yes, I needed some relaxation, but I wanted inspiration
too, from regular everyday things. They did not have to be
over-the-top productions. I was looking for tiny moments that would
speak to my heart and make me smile…"
For the cover of Dazed & Confused, the July 2011 issue, Beyonce
poses in a bright Givenchy sweatshirt paired with a leopard-printed
bra, and high-waisted pants, holding a melting ice-cream in her
hand. Speaking about the time she needed away from music and
showbiz, Beyonce told the magazine that, "I needed some time to
live. I’ve been signed to the same label since I was 12 years old
and never had more than a month and a half off since I was 13. I’ve
worked so hard for so many years and just felt like, 'Well, why
not?'"
The 'Run The World (Girls)' singer is also featured on the latest
cover of 'W', for the magazine's 'Music & Style' July issue.
This is a double cover too, with Beyonce and Christina Aguilera each
gracing their own cover, and both photographed by Mert and
Marcus.
