Lovely Ashley Greene lands
on the cover of BlackBook's November 2011
issue. In the interview with the magazine, the 24-year-old actress
chats about her work ethic, being rumored to be dating everyone,
having a tough dad, her Sports Illustrated photoshoot, tricky age
in Hollywood, being down to earth and good fortune, and many
more.
There has been a lot of attention surrounding the love life of the
'Twilight' actress especially since she broke up with Joe Jonas
last March. Ashley has been paired to everyone, including Jackson
Rathbone and 'Family Guy' creator Seth McFarlane. "I'm not an
actress, I'm a professional dater," Greene jokes. "I'm dating
everyone! My brother lives in LA and won't even walk outside a
restaurant with me. He's like, 'I don't want to be romantically
linked to you,'" she told BlackBook.
The talented actress admits that she has a rather crazy work ethic
and that she has practically worked everywhere. "I worked at the
dry cleaner across from my school, I worked accounts payable for a
company, I did hosting, I worked at a bowling alley, I worked at a
boutique. I worked at a hotel, I worked at a restaurant, I did
modeling, I worked everywhere. And I didn't get fired!"
Ashley was featured in the Sports Illustrated's 2010 Swimsuit
issue. "My team asked them to go easy on the Photoshop. I'm not
perfect, I have flaws," she told BlackBook. As for the pink bikini
painted on her body, Ashley jokes saying that, "I painted it on
myself." Then she continues, "Actually, it took 12 hours, and the
artists are amazing. I was debating whether or not to do it, but I
talked to my dad. I thought it was very artistic."
Speaking about her dad, Ashley confesses that she and her brother
were raised with strictness. "My dad used to be in the Marines, so
no one is going to give him flack. At 14, I was being a little
brat, I thought I knew everything, and my dad was like, 'I own your
bed, your TV, everything.' There was a lot of discipline, and with
what I'm doing now, I'm glad for it," the actress says.
Ashley also admits to be really strong at sports. It's no wonder
she is constantly spotted by paparazzi exiting the gym. "Growing up
I was very competitive with my brother. He did martial arts, and I
was a tomboy. I got into martial arts and won medals. Once on the
trampoline, I hit my leg and it just snapped. They put pins in it.
I broke my arm twice, I broke my femur twice, I split my head open
twice," Greene told the magazine.
