Alex Pettyfer and Dianna Agron Split Over Racy Photos

Just as people were getting used to the newest hot couple in Hollywood, Alex Pettyfer and Dianna Agron, co-stars in the movie "I Am Number Four", we find out that they decided to call it quits. Could the reason behind the split be Alex's hot photoshoot or was it something else?

The “I Am Number Four” stud Alex Pettyfer has been in a fabulous relationship with co-star Dianna Agron since last year. The two have fallen in love after they have met on the set, while filming for the new Dream Works production “I Am Number Four”, and until now they seemed like they were headed towards the isle. The news that Alex Pettyfer and Dianna Agron split came as a shock for the media especially as only a few weeks ago the two were dealing with engagement rumors.

Well, as it turns out those were only rumors and the couple decided to call it quits. An official report hasn't been issued yet, but there are already rumors which state Dianna got upset with Alex over a sexy photoshoot. The photos feature a shirtless Alex along with Lydia Hearst and Leven Rambin. The pictures were taken by celebrity photographer Tyler Shields and they are full on sexy!

It seems that everything was fine for the couple before the racy photos came out and soon after, the couple decided to call it quits. Coincidence or not?
Curiously, Alex Pettyfer said on Ellen DeGeneres show just last month that he thinks Dianna is just amazing. His exact words were:
"She's an amazing woman and she's got this old school, classic movie star elegance to her. She's amazing."

Dianna also stated in an interview to Sugar magazine, the Winter 2011 issue that Alex is a very sweet man. She said: "Alex might see himself as a bod boy, but he's actually very sweet in real life."

If these statements were issued just a month or so before the couple decided to split, what could have went wrong? Were they just being polite as they were on rocky ground or did Alex's sexy photoshoot cause the couple to split?
One thing is for certain however, Dianna moved out and they seem to be separated. As far as the pictures go, it seems that the photoshoot took place a year ago, before the two became an item, so why did they really split up?
