The NARS Radiant Cream Compact Foundation line will hit the counters on the 1st of August on as well as in NARS boutiques. The label is introducing a new set of high performance foundation tones which can be applied both wet and dry, allowing maximum versatility. The label makes a bold promise with the new foundation tones that is music to the average makeup enthusiast's ears: it provides “full coverage and sets in seconds, leaving skin soft, smooth, and glowing”. The new formula is said to be lightweight and easily buildable.

Though the brand has not given any pointers with regards to the source of inspiration, the 20 new NARS Radiant Cream Compact Foundations seem designed to appeal to women from all parts of the world. For instance, two of the new tones, Gobi and Ceylan are made to compliment the Asian skin tones. Since the names refer to iconic locations from around the world, the mostly likely intent is to offer suitable options for many different skin tones.
