chapped lips

My lips are EXTREMLEY chapped

it's to the point where it's really bugging me. they turn red and you can see the

dry skin around the outer part of my lips, so unattractive&annoying!

i use carmax and it only gets rid of it for a while but it starts again!

any ideas on how to get rid of it!?!?!

try to drink lots of water, to keep hydrated and don't lick or bite your lips.

also, wash your lips gently with a warm face cloth, to remove dead skin.

pat dry and then apply vaseline, or any chap stick, try another brand than carmax.

whenever they become dry, re apply the chap stick or vaseline, and it should clear up soon.

best of luck (:

eliselovesninjas nailed it! thats exactly what i do and my man loves my soft lips! and about twice a week i gently rub the dead skin of my lips (this keeps them super soft!) with my toothbrush, then but vaseline on after.

the thing is during the colder seasons you want to always apply a chapstick when you go outside keep it in your pocket or purse and apply as often as you like

hydrate yourself girl! drink plenty of water. i used to keep a bottle of 2L by my side to keep me drinking..

but hey, maybe these tricks would also help:

good luck!

dont use carmax- its addictive not really but it doesn have something t that hydrates your lips first then after a few uses it dries your lips out even more and make you keep using you csn because it starts to dry them out.try soft lips or burts bees, or original chapstick

These girls have got it :)

But you should also apply vaseline to your lips at night, only a small amount but it can do the best work when your asleep because your not eating/drinking/ talking so it you keep pretty still. :)

I always have vaseline by me aswell as other chapsticks and a TON of water :)

Oh and you can also get a small empty container ( like a lipgloss one), mix vaseline and sugar in a bowl and then fill up the container, rub in circualr motions on your lips and VIOLA! home made lip scrub AND it helps get rid of dead skin and leaves a sweet taste on your lips :) ( obviously wipe it off gently and add plain vaseline to mosturise it :) xxx
