Some possible problems could be that you are over brushing your hair or using hair products with lots of chemicals in them. I don't know if you do that or not, but brush hair gently and use mostly natural hair products.

I agree with the answer from merizabeth. Also if you have your hair in a pony lots it tends to break your hair from being too tight. Its natural for hair to fall out. But if it gets really bad, I suggest you go and see a Hair specialist.

I agree with both of the answers... but another factor can the aftermath of a shock to our system. I had this problem last year for a few weeks... I WAS LOSING ALOT!!! I ended up doing a lot of research on the internet; I have naturally curly hair and i wasn't brushing to much, the product i use is Ojon (very natural) so I was stumped. Then I read that hair loss can occur a few weeks or even months after a serious shock to the body has occurred. When I learnt this everything made sense because a few weeks earlier I was very very sick and run down and I wasn't able to eat or drink anything for about 5 days. My word of advice to help her body with your hair would be to go to your natural health food store and get a very good supplement. I am currently taking silica.

Hope this helped,

p.s. If your have any questions don't be afraid to shout!

Again i agree with what other people have said, but also it's possible that you wash your hair too much. I had this problem a while ago. I used to wash my hair everyday and loads would fall out.

I still wash my hair almost everyday now if i'm going out of the house, but i think what helps my hair is that i sometimes, and i know this is gonna sound gross, but sometimes i let it get really greasy.

Trust me, not washing it for 4 or 5 days, which is the most i can go since my hair is thin and long, maybe you could go longer?, it really helps the overall condition of your hair. It helps dryness and it really makes your hair shiny as well as leaving your scalp in better condition so that less hair will fall out.

I agree with all answers. But it I just went through this problem and I found out that your hair goes through a folicle phase where a bunch of hair will fall out at one time for a little while. You may be going through that. But try natural hair products and eat foods ortake vitamins with lots of vitamin E and B. Those are good for your hair. If you have any questions you can messege me. Hope I helped : )
