Hair won't straighten anymore

Before when I used to straighten my hair all the time it was silky smooth and you could easily run your fingers through it. After frying it I've let it grow deep conditioned it lots have barely straightened it and have tried my best to restore it's health. Tonight I tried straightning it and got this half straight/wavy mess. I didn't even wanna try making it flatter or anything it felt horrible. I used the same flat iron brand/model as before but without the usual turbo heat. I'm hoping it's because I used too much products or something I did spray a good amount of paul mitchell heat seal humidity/heat protection spray and I have left in herbal essance split end protecter leave in conditinor.

uh i'm thinking if you use a leave in conditioner it's not going to help your plan to straighten

why not try some natural hair straightening methods, that will keep your strands super-sleek and even nourish your hair. Before i've read this article i had no idea of these tricks...if you ask me, worth trying..

yeah and the girls say you might try some deep conditioning treatments, look at the basic types and choose the one that fits your taste... 8-)

leave in conditioner will not help to make your hair straight. maybe you should try straightening it without the leave in conditioner in?

maybe you should try getting your haircut.. it could be all dead ends and dead ends dont really straighen well

it sounds like products buildup. Like you havnt washed all the conditioner out your hair in the first place and then kept putting products on top so your hair cant dry out properly. Then when you tired to straighten it becasue its damp it wont straighten properly.
