Weight loss help?

Okay so i'm not saying that i'm fat or anything, but i'm not particularly skinny. it's just that it being summer i usually fall into this routine where i end up eating alot of junk and things i know i shouldnt eat alot of...

but school is starting in the next few weeks and i really want to get in shape and really loose some weight that i've gained recently. If it helps to know, I don't particularly like running on tracks and i don't have any clue what i can do to exercise..also is there any way i can modify my diet to help that isn't too expensive to go along with exercising tips?

and yaeh u can try cabbage soup diet 2 burn calories.

The Soup Diet is based on a fat-burning soup that contains negligible calories. The more soup you eat the more weight you should lose. It allows people to eat as much Cabbage Soup as they want each day, which should sound appealing to dieters. After all, dieters love to hear that they can eat unlimited amounts of food and still lose weight fast.

Cabbage Soup Recipe

- 6 large green onions

- 2 green peppers

- 1 or 2 cans of tomatoes (diced or whole)

- 3 carrots

- 1 container (10 oz. or so) Mushrooms

- 1 bunch celery

- 1/2 head cabbage

- 1 package Lipton soup mix

- 1 or 2 cubes bouillon (optional)

- 1 48oz can V8 juice (optional)

Season to taste with salt, pepper, parsley, garlic powder, etc.


1. Slice green onions, put in pot and start to sauté with cooking spray.

2. Cut green pepper stem end off and cut in half, take seeds and membrane out. Cut the green pepper into bite size pieces and put in pot.

3. Take the outer leafs layers off the cabbage, cut into bite size pieces, put in pot.

4. Clean carrots cut into bite size pieces, put in pot.

5. Slice mushrooms into thick slices (otherwise they will disappear in the soup), put in pot.

6. If you would like a spicy soup, add a small amount of cayenne pepper (red pepper) now (1/3 teaspoon is quite a bit as the soup will get spicier as it cooks further).

7. You can use beef or chicken bouillon cubes for seasonings. They have all the salt and flavors you will need.

8. Use about 12 cups of water (or 8 cups and the V8 juice), cover and put heat on low. Let soup cook for a long time (two hours works well).

9. Season to taste with salt and pepper

i feel the same way too, so this is what I'm doing in the summer:

I try not to eat until my stomach growls, which is a little hard to do. i only allow myself to eat 2 snacks a day(not including breakfast or dinner). if your having trouble stopping yourself from eating, try chewing gum. for exercise, you can walk your dog(if you have one), ride a bike, or just go on a walk by yourself to a store like Starbucks, or go with friends.

i have been doing this for a week and i lost 4 pounds.

Same here!! im trying to lose what i gaines this summmer

i usually do food combining its really just dont mix proteins like,meat,eggs,that kinda thing with carbs,chips,bread,pasta,,

you can still have them just dont mix the two

and drink lots of water excersise realll isn't needed ...

look it up TRUST me it works

wat u can do is mayb the seventeen 6 wekk workout plan that comes in the august issue of seventeen its realy good and i am on week 2 and i hav already lost 4 pounds... it also teels u some neat ideas of wat to eat for breakfeast lunch/dinner and even even tells u wat drinks are the healthies for you.. if u need motivation just go to and post a question asking for help from other ppl

I am going through the same thing! I'm trying to go walk my dog for an hour every day, and do 100 crunches in the morning & evening if I can. Jumping jacks are good too, I try to do 100 of those every day as well. It's good cardio with out having to run!

Also, I'm trying to do this: Whenever I'm hungry for a snack, either drink water, or eat blueberries or watermelon. Blue berries and watermelon actually boost your metabolism a bit, so that will help you loose weight! but just try not to eat so much food & stuff.... haha hope I helped!

Im actually going through the same thing but if you do crunches\sit-ups everyday for an hour or so at a certain time, you should be able to drop a few pounds! Also if your going to diet, dont count calories because that will just slow down your metabolism and make it harder to loose weight, so count carbohydrates. I hope i helped!!

And you probably shouldn't starve yourself because your body will think its starving itself, and store EXTRA FAT in your stomach. I learned that the hard way lol
