Going Blonde Questions.

Thinking of dying my hair blonde probably wayyy in the future :P

So these were the questions I was wondering....

1. Will bleaching all of your hair damage it pretty bad?

2. Any products to use so it doesn't get damaged?

3. Does blonde hair look good with dark(brownish/black) eyebrows?

4. Will blonde hair look better with a dark tan?

5. If you dont like it, will dying it back another color damage your hair even more? (Unless there's a product you can use?)

I'll really appreciate the answers! :D

*Note that, I am a licensed professional.

1. It depends on how dark your hair is naturally, or if you have any colors on it from past coloring. If your hair is 100% natural from roots to ends, and its generally light, it won't take that much work to get it blonde, and therefore, won't be as damaging. If it's darker, it still won't be that damaging, but you will see dry ends and possible processing damage. If you have ANY color at all, you need to tell your hairdresser about it. Certain box colors have dye molecules that don't mesh well with lighteners, and can actually make your hair sizzle right off. So, bottom line, the more natural your hair is, the less damage you will have.
2. I suggest, as a professional and someone who has bleached hair many many times, to go to a professional for this one. You can very easily fry your hair off, and once that is done, there is nothing we can do to fix it. As for products afterwards, deep conditioners and possibly protein treatments (depending on what kind of damage was done).
3. I think it looks fine, personally.
4. It depends on how dark of tan and how light of blonde.
5. It is exceedingly hard to put color back on top of blonde hair, especially platinum or anything that isn't a "natural" blonde. It has taken my client 6 different dye jobs to get color to stay in her hair. It isn't always damaging, but more often than not, it does damage the hair.

If you have any other questions, just message me. I'm here to help!

Honestly if you have natural dark hair and you want to go blond you will damage it a lot.I have been there, even being a natural blonde it still messed up mine really bad .So maybe just get some highlights instead. I think it would look better than completely bleaching your hair.

1. Bleaching will dry out your hair so use a good conditioner.
2. I would say just get cheap boxes of hair dye and do it until it get to the shade you want.
3. Please do not dye your eyebrows unless you plan on keeping up with your hair. When roots start showing and you have different color eyebrows it looks creepy.
4. I have seen blonde on every skin tone, but of course they are all different shades of blonde.
5. Not if you do it in the same day. Actually it really depends on what else you have in your hair. Is it relaxed, permed....I did my friends hair and we dyed it 3 times in one day and then put highlight in the next! Her hair was still as soft as ever thanks to conditioner.
