Wrong hair color

My natural hair color is dark brown. I decided to dye my hair a medium golden brown because on the back of the box where they have the samples of how it would come out; it wasnt such a dramatic change.

But my hair came out semi-light reddish brown.

Next time I dye my hair (in a month or two) should I just go darker?

normally going lighter is hard on dark hair and you have to leave it on a while to really soak in.

at the salon it takes hours to color my foils gold

red's always worked well for me, red reds, not orange/reds and burgandy's were so pretty

you may need to dye your hair several times

if you are going from dark to light. this way you

can get the colour that was on the back of the box.

stupid, i know, but that's how it rolls[:
