How do I make my jeans look "vintage" or "destructed" without goign out and buying new ones?

I am trying to achieve this really cute outfit, but it won't look much like it should if it doesn't have destructed jeans. I was wondering if anyone knows how? I looked on Youtube but none of the videos were much help. If you don't have an idea what I'm talking about this is what I want the jeans to look like, or at least close enough(locateed in picture)

Please help! (:

to get like the stringy holes in them, you take a razor blade and just cut the jeans then wash them and the strings appear!

you can also make holes by takeing a rock and putting it inside the leg then holding the jean fabric around it. then rub it on the pavement or sidewalk. it'll make a small rough hole and as you wash it more and wear it more i'll get a lil bigger

but the hole will look more natural than if you cut it
