Really good flat (straightening) irons?

I've heard that the Chi is a really good flat iron, but its pretty expensive. Is their any out there that are almost as good, but not as expensive?

you do pay for what you get

but ceramic is always a good choice

Every flat iron I've bought that was ceramic would break after about 3 or 4 months....I bought a Chi over a year ago & it's still as good as the day I bought it. I'd suggest ebay for a Chi, they have great price discounts & a lot of the items are still brand new in the box. BarbiPixi is do get what you pay for.
