hmm...idk how you can get your hair really straight, however you can get your hair layered, and use serums or leave-in conditioners after you wash your hair.

If you have trouble straightening your hair each day, try curling it(:

and you can get some bangs like these as well and it would look gorgeous!

This one is cute too; Once you get it layered and bangs and stuff you can straighten it...and it wont take as long since your hair is thick. I always curl my bangs a little to add some type of volume.

I have to same problem...It keeps getting thicker for me everytime i cut it. Good luck, i hope you find something that suits you =)

Sorry messed up on that last one*

You wont have as much to straighten if you get it layered =P

it honestly depends on how curly your hair is. i have to straighten my hair all the time if not then its a fro! getting bangs and just straightening that is a step towards "scene" hair, also try adding some color, or even a choppy haircut. that'll make the straightening process much easier and you wouldnt have to do it every single day.

i would almost say just straighten your bangs and the top layer of your hair, then maybe some of the ends in the back and leave your afro hair underneith to give you the teasing affect but it'll be quicker than straightening everything then teasing
