some, maybe fifty for every hundred sit ups/calories....but mainly situps help tone and firm while making muscle-muscle is good and the more muscle you have burns extra calories throughout teh day

i would do sit ups for a certain amount of time like 5 - 10 mins a day to build up muscles. but running/walkin/jogging will burn tons more cause it uses more muscles
