just warning you: their hard to do and hard to look right. but they rae the best way to do curls and are long lasting.

1. damp hair or wet hair put a mousse, curl cream, light gel, or any other styling product with holding powers

2. separate your strands-depending on the size of curls you want and how well your hair holds curls. (larger strands make bigger curls but are more difficult to stay curled and take longer to dry fyi)

3. put styling product on strands and roll strand onto finger then slide off but keep it in the coil shape and use a bobby pin (or two or three) to keep it in place at the root.

4 do this til its all done then wait for it to dry

5 you can blow dry them but be careful you dont use a high setting because it will cause frizz

6. if you use a hair dryer then end with a cool setting for volume, shine, and most importantly, to set the curls (which gives them extra holding power)

7 best way is to let it dry naturally overnight because it takes forever

8 take the pins out very carefully and use a curling iron on those that didnt work so well

9 you may need to separate the curls or arrange then afterwards cuz they can come out kinda crazy and use a little extra holding product

10 it takes practice so dont get discouraged-it can be done!

Pincurls are extremely hard. Depending on what you want as well. There are 3 types you can choose from 1) Flare 2) Flat 3) Standup. The flare ones are definitely the hardest, but do look extremely nice. Follow the directions that fulltimepinklady gave you, but remember to 'ribbon' the hair out straight horizontally if you want them to be flat pincurls, and if you want them to be flare, 'ribbon' them out on a diagonal . Also, never squeeze the base of the pincurl, as it makes them messy. Your pincurls should be at least 2 fingers deep and about to your cuticle in. Have fun with them!
