Does black hair look good with medium beige skin tone

I'm a natural brunette but I really want raven black hair and would it look good with my skin tone?

It really depends on the person... there are a lot more factors in here than just skin color, ya know?
Brunette could mean light/almost blonde or dark/almost black... so...
Here are some other things you should consider:
-eyebrow color... if you have dark eyebrows, you will probably look better with darker hair (I suggest this just b/c drastic color differences btwn hair and eyebrows can look very weird... e.g. if you had red eyebrows and black hair or something like that)
-skin color... you already pointed this one out... and oftentimes paler people look ghostly when they dye their hair black... then yet again some pale people can totally pull it off. But yes... if you have darker skin you have a better chance of black hair looking better
-current hair color... we all know that some people can only pull off certain hair colors... e.g. when some blonde people decide to dye their hair black it can look quite weird... or vice versa. Usually... in order to keep a more natural look, it is suggested that you go no more than two shades darker or lighter than your current hair color. If you're comfortable with that... than you can be more adventurous.
It's hard to judge since you don't have a picture... but don't feel pressured to post one... a lot of these things you can only decide for yourself.
If you're still unsure, I would just go 2 or 3 shades darker than your current hair color and see how you like it...
God Bless :)
