How do I convince my parents to let me dye my hair?

I really want to darken my hair and maybe put some green in it, but my parents won't let me! How should I convince them to let me dye my hair?!

Well, it's kind of hard because your parents seem to have really strong views here. Is that they think ur too young or what? What color is your hair now? You could try telling them that all ur friends have dyed their hair, but that usually won't work. The only advice I could offer is to try to explain to them why you think you'd look better with dyed hair. Maybe you could show them some pictures of how your hair would look colored (there are some websites that can do that I think). Also maybe if you have an older sister or brother, they could talk to them. You have to be patient I guess and don't get real mad because that'll make it worse.

This is bringing back memories. I had the same thing with my parents when I wanted to do it for the first time. To be honest, most parents (mine and my friends) usually do not really change their minds often. I'll tell you what I did and maybe you can get a few tips.
My mom was dead set against dyeing my hair and my dad was like "listen to your mom' but he wasn't really against it. So one day I went with him to his office and there is a hair studio in the same building, so i asked if i could get my hair done and he said ok, so I asked to dye my hair and he said no :-( I then went to his receptionist and the hair stylist to beg my dad. And he gave in to the pressure and let me. Also the hair stylist explained to my dad that the products he uses do not cause any damage to the hair.
Hope this helps
