Not feeling pretty :[

Well I've always been a little bigger but, lately I've been feeling really fat. I'm starting to excercise more but I just dont know. Is there a better way to lose some weight than just walking and watching what I eat? I do really want to lose a few pounds before school starts up again so that my clothes look better on me too.

Considering you said, "Go back to school" I take it you're still a little younger and in High School? Who cares what weight you are. Trust me, I lived like that my entire life in school and it got me no where but in a corner with an eating problem and put in the hospital. I'm a BIIIG girl and I looove myself. Drink a little water befroe eating, you'll feel full very shortly after you start to eat, which cuts down how much you eat.

Eat 5 times a day, eat breakfast, lunch and dinner, and then eat 2 yummy low calorie snacks in there somwhere.

Get rid of huge plates, and use small ones-once food starts to fall off, step away from the table.

Dark blue is a color proven to lower the appetite, a lot. So use dark blue plates! Avoid colors like red and orange and yellow, they make your hunger go sky high (think McDonalds, those colors aren't random!)

Find someone else who is willing to lose weight and work together, go to the gym together, swim together, having someone with you doesn't make you feel so alone.

Eat less bread and pastas.

Try yoga, it's a great calming way to lose weight.

Haha, I got all these from my mom (who has lost an amazing amount of weight, she went from 230 to 140 QUICK. Now, she looks amazing!)

& Finally, don't compare your self to others.

actually a good way to do it is eat a big healty breakfast

with eggs and cereal and juice

then eat a good lunch maybe a grilled/baked chicken sandwich a glass of milk, and a salad

then eat a light dinner like a sandwich and a salad and some fruit, and a glass of milk

eating a big meal while you're awake will burn it faster, if you eat a big dinner then go to sleep you're body doesn't burn as fast and it will stick around more.

but you always want to eat a well balanced meal to stay healty, and take a multi vitamin. choose baked/boiled/grilled foods they are healtier.

it's always ok if your still hungry after your meals to snack on any type of fruit and veggie they use more calories to eat than they'll give you.

wake up at night and hungry grab an apple : P

and it's always ok to give yourself a treat but try to keep it down to one or 2 servings a day. have a half cup of icecream or one snack cake as a serving because everyone needs a treat when you're doing good.

Dont stop walking Just keep walking and runing and make sure you drink plenty of water.Jump rope is good too!!! helps burn the weight off fast,Do some squats,setups,push-ups to tone&tighten the body :D
