I didn't think you could get skin cancer FROM tanning, but

i thought it increased the chance of getting skin cancer.

lol no you won't get skin cancer from going and getting a tan

tanning alot can hurt your skin and try it out and you could get skin cancer, but that's not guarenteed

i know a few people who have skin that look and feel like leather from tanning too much

but keeping a natural tan is fine. i would suggest always using a sun lotion *truthfully i always use a sun block but that keeps your skin safer and it's harder to get a tan* but a regular tanning lotion still has some SPF and will help you get a tan faster

also going to a tanning salon is pretty safe too

oh and you'd work your way up in mins you can actually go to a salon and buy a package and start at 5 or 10 mins a day then if after a few days of doing that you don't have any burn move up to 15 and 20 mins

ask the girls how long they go for and find a girl that has a color you'd like and work your way up to her time
