My hair won\'t hold a curl or scrunch, Help ?

I have bone straight hair, that can't hold a curl no matter what, and I cant scrunch it either because it comes out straight anyways. I have to go somewhere today that calls for more than a ponytail, so any ideas? Also, my hair is about 1 1/2 inches past my shoulders

i wishhh i had strait hair like that. instead i spend hours straitning mine. so for today all i can recomend is maybe doing a half or something. but if you are REALLY serious about wanting curly hair you could get a perm. i don't know how much they cost but if they cost tooo much for you, theres always the at home kits that cost about $15.

they're not REALLY damaging especally if you don't do it ALL the time

but myhair won't hold a curl eiter i may get it to hold a bit of a wave but i need lots of hair spray

try curling it and using lots of spray, and you can pin some curls up around a pun to give you a styled look

my hair is stick straight so i put mouse all thoroughout my hair when it's still wet and crunch all throughout really good then hairspray like crazy and crunch at the same surprisingly works on my hair.

Aren't perms really damaging, or are they alright?
